Listening to the Land

With this event, migas will begin a new listening series at the crossroads of sound and poetry curated by Pia Chakraverti-Wuerthwein in conversation with a different special guest each session.

In our first session, “Listening to the Land,” Pia will be joined by poet emet ezell. Combining field recordings, conversation, songs, and poems, we will listen to the pulse of the land.

How can we listen to the land’s cries of joy and dispossession? What stories soar on a white stork‘s wing?
